When can I apply for a tax refund?
How does the refund process work?
We have a simple and fast refund process:
How much money will I get back from my tax return?
You can call us on our toll free number or access our free online estimate service to calculate your refund. We guarantee to provide you with the maximum possible refund. On a case by case situation we will organise your refund based upon the following criteria:
How long will it take to receive my refund?
Tax refunds for the 08/09 financial year (from July 1st 2008 – June 30th 2009) take approximately 7-10 working days.
All other tax refunds take between 4-8 weeks from the day we lodge your refund.
Can I get a refund of my superannuation payments?
If you have worked during your stay in Australia and earned more than $450 per month, your employer will have contributed 9% of your gross income into a superannuation fund for you. Once you leave Australia permanently and your visa expires you are entitled to claim back your superannuation.
Our customers have received super refunds ranging between $500 - $7,000. Apply for your super refund online and let our friendly team do all the hard work for you. We’ll find all your superannuation and organise a refund to your chosen bank account.
How do you keep me informed about the progress of my refund?
We know how important it is to be kept informed so here is what we do!
We cover everything to make sure you are constantly informed of the progress of your refund. Should you have any queries, simply contact us.
How much will it cost?
We offer a no refund; no fee policy and you can use our service with no upfront costs.
Tax refunds: A basic tax refund is only $89. A fee of $35 is charged for tax returns requiring additional services for document retrieval etc. We will advise you of the total fee before we proceed with processing.
Super Refunds: We can organise your super refund once you have left Australia permanently. We charge a flat fee of $99. This fee will cover the additional time needed for collection of documents and processing costs. Once again, we will advise you before we process anything.
Additional fees apply for services such as multiple payment summaries, replacement of payment summaries and international money transfers. Please check with our helpful customer service team as additional fees may apply for tax refunds from before 2005.
What happens if I am missing any documents?
If you don’t have all your documents then we can organise replacements for you. We have good relationships with employers all over Australia so this process can happen very quickly. Once we receive all the necessary documents your refund will be processed on the same day and you will be notified of your refund estimate.
Can you guarantee that I'll get the refund amount you estimated?
We can’t guarantee it as the Australian Taxation Office has the final say on how much you will get back. We make sure to include all possible deductions and expenses so you receive the maximum legal refund.
Will I get the maximum refund?
All our Accountants are Australian Authorised Tax Agents and they are responsible for the lodgement of all tax and refunds. They make sure you get the maximum legal refund by including all possible deductions and expenses that you are entitled to claim.
